Why Leicester?
Leicester is easily accesible from most places. It takes only one hour and nine minutes from St Pancras International in London, and train fares are from £11 each way. So from central London it takes almost the same time as it would take to get to Heathrow!

Leicester train station connects to many other major cities directly too, such as Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Peterborough, Cambridge and Norwich

Road access is simple via the M1 or the M69 and both East Midlands and Birmingham airports are easily accessible with good public transport links. The Grand Hotel has a car park and is just 500m from the train station.

Why not bring your partner or family?
Leicester has a lot to offer including the National Space Museum, many other museums, the brand new Highcross shopping centre and fantastic food: especially from the Indian sub-continent. You can also get a train to Alton Towers! For more information, click here

David Collingwood-Bell has over a number of years has taken a special interest in and made an extensive study of the nature and treatment of tinnitus, with the result that much of his practice as a hypno-psychotherapist is now taken up with tinnitus clients. Although he sees clients on the more normal weekly or fortnightly basis, he also arranges to devote up to three days to those clients who find it worth their while to travel to his base in North East Wales from much further afield.
In 2008 he was appointed by the National Council for Hypnotherapy to be its Special Adviser on Tinnitus

Perhaps even more important is that his motivation to help others in this way was as a result of his personal experience as a tinnitus sufferer and the way in which he has brought his noise under control, largely through hypnotherapy and a positive mental attitude. His own personal struggle has given him some understanding of what it is like to suffer from a condition that can drive some to despair.
David's whole working life has been geared to helping people to learn and develop their potential. This has been in a wide variety of contexts - as a military man, a youth worker, an educator, a trainer and now therapist.
