As an NCHP trainee you may apply
for membership of the UKCP as a "Candidate
in training"

We know that you want to know
exactly what you will be learning, so we publish all the
details of the structure of our courses. We want you to be
sure your have made the right choice!

We train small groups of
students, which we believe is important so that you get
individual attention. Some schools have as many as
50 students in a class! We are also not limited to training in one
location. We currently run courses in London, Leeds,
Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, East Midlands (Leicester),
and Glasgow.

Past students are welcome to
re-attend any stage of their training FREE OF
CHARGE (subject to available space). This is just one of
the ways we support our students. We believe that we are the only
school of our type to offer this opportunity free of charge.

NCHP Hypnosis Training and
Hypnotherapy Training courses adhere to the National
Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy (the Principal and
Managing Director were members of the working group who wrote
these), and incorporate and Profesional Occupational
Standards produced by UKCP.

process: we will encourage you to find your own way to be
the best therapist you can be.

Our Principal and MD have
over 40 years clinical experience and our
Principal has over 17 years experience in Hypnotherapy
Training, Hypnosis Training and Psychotherapy Training, we

Our complete Diploma
Course is a genuine, validated post graduate
programme (45 Pg Credits awarded by Open
University after completion of
Stages-1-3). We have enjoyed this level of
recognition since 1997.

Note:- The National College of Hypnosis
and Psychotherapy™ has meaningful external accreditation,
notably with the UK Council for Psychotherapy, European
Association for Psychotherapy and the European Association for

The National College courses attract
substantial Open University-specific credit rating
and demonstrable access to other areas of reputable higher
education.
Additional Note: Some enquirers have asked
why the National College is not affiliated with certain
"Hypnotherapy Organisations". It is our policy that we will only
align ourselves with organisations which have meaningful and
verifiable means of accreditation. The profession has many
organisations which will give you a certificate for a fee. We, as
one of the oldest schools of professional hypnosis and
psychotherapy, believe that we should take a leadership position
with this and not support bodies which have only been created to
give out meaningless credentials and to turn a profit for its
owners.
